Toys-R-Us opens in WHSmith

Newly relauched toy retailer Toys'R'Us have opened a concession in Hertford's W.H.Smith in Bircherley Green.

The outlet is one of 39 nationwide, following a deal between the two retailers.

The company relaunched its UK operations in 2021 after closing all stores in 2018 when the parent US company went in to liquidation. Trading was initially online only but later the company opened 9 pilot stores operating out of W.H.Smith. A further 30 outlets were opened from Aprl 2024.

The concession occupies half of the first floor sales area, with book sales occupying the other half

Art supplies that were previously on the first floor have moved to the ground floor
