Police appeal after betting shop robbery
Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a robbery in Maidenhead Street on Saturday (25th January).
The incident occurred at William Hill in Maidenhead Street at around 5.05pm on Saturday afternoon.
Police have released images of a person they wish to identify as part of their enquiries.
It was reported that staff were threatened with a silver object, believed to have been a firearm, and a small amount of cash was handed over.
No one was hurt during the incident.

Police have issued the following statement:
Our enquiries are continuing at this time, including a review of any CCTV opportunities.
As part of our early investigations, we're releasing the attached images of someone we’d like to identify, as we believe they may be able to assist us.
We appreciate you cannot clearly see their identity, but the images may jog someone’s memory, particularly if they were in the Maidenhead Street and Bull Plain area around the time and remember seeing someone wearing the same clothing, possibly riding a bicycle.
We'd be especially keen to hear from anyone who may have captured any footage from the area, including dash cam footage.
If you can help, please get in touch. Any information, no matter how seemingly insignificant, could greatly assist our enquiries."
