Police investigate aggravated burglary
Police are conducting an investigation after an aggravated burglary in Brickendon Lane on Wednesday (29th January 2025).
Three men wearing black clothing, gloves and balaclavas, forced their way into an address in Brickendon Lane around 8:40pm and stole jewellery and cash.
One of the occupants sustained injuries during the incident.
Detective Sergeant Jason Rice, from the East Herts Local Crime Unit, said: "Understandably the victims have been left extremely shaken by the incident and are being supported by officers at this time.
"Our enquiries are ongoing, including a review of any CCTV opportunities. As part of our investigation, we’d be keen to hear from anyone who may have information about what happened.
"Did you witness any suspicious activity in the area around the time? Did you capture any dash cam, doorbell or CCTV footage of people or vehicles in the area?
"Any information, no matter how seemingly insignificant, could greatly assist our enquiries."
Anyone with information can contact DS Rice by email.
You can also report information online, speak to an operator in the Force Communications Room via online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 41/9384/25.
