Man in hospital after Tesco car park altercation

Four people have been arrested after an altercation in Tesco's car park left a man in hospital in a serious condition.

The incident occurred around 8.15pm in the car park of Tesco in Ware Road when a group of people, who are known to each other, were involved in an altercation during which a number of people sustained injuries.

One victim, aged in his fifties, is currently in hospital in a serious condition.

Detective Inspector David Boden said: "We’ve arrested four people in connection with the incident and as part of our  investigation, we would like to hear from any witnesses or anyone with information.

"Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you think you can help.

"We would also ask that anyone who was driving in the car park with a dash cam to please check it and get in touch if you have captured what happened or anything else that might assist our investigation."
