Roadworks likely to cause delays
Roadworks in and around Hertford are set to cause delays for motorists over the next two weeks.
In Hale Road, a new bus stop is being installed adjacent to Isabella House between Thursday 22nd and Saturday 24th February, with multiway temporary traffic lights controlling the traffc flow.
On Tuesday 20th February Park Road will be closed for resurfacing and this will include a simultaneous lane closure on the A414 London Road.
The A414 London Road heading towards to town from the Foxholes roundabout will also be subject to a lane closure between 26th February and 7th March as repair and maintenance work takes place.
Temporary traffic lights will be in place in Stansted Road from Saturday 24th to Sunday 25th February for repairs and maintenance to water supplies.
Affinity Water will also be working Hertingfordbury Road from Monday 4th to Wednesday 6th March.
Multiway signals will be in operation on Port Hill From Tuesday 27th to Thursday 29th February as Openreach carry out work on the telecommunications network. Similar works will impact Bengeo Street at the junction with Sacombe Road from Thursday 22nd February until Monday 26th February, and The Avenue between Friday 23rd and Tuesday 27th February.
