Fore Street Closed After Incident

Fore Street is closed outside the Salisbury Hotel following a serious incident overnight.

Local radio station BOB FM are reporting that two men are in hospital following  a serious assault.

There is a heavy police presence at the site, which remains cordoned off (Friday lunchtime). Hertfordshire Highways have tweeted that the road wil remain closed for the rest of the day.

The hotel and bar are still open.
