Car park prices set to increase
The cost of parking in Hertford is expected to increase next year, along with other changes in the town's car parks.

Under the proposals, as well as inflationary price increases, the ground floor of the Gascoyne Way multi-storey car park will be limited to a maximum of 3 hours, whilst the London Road car park will see the introduction of short stay parking.
All car parks will also see the introduction of a 3-hour limit for free parking by Blue Badge holders, with no return permitted during the same operational hours.
The changes are part of a public consultation on parking across the district, with Ware, Bishop's Stortford, Buntiongford and Sawbridgeworth .
The cost of parking will increase by 4%. The old and new tariffs are shown in the table below.

The public consultation closes on 9th November.
